Four months after Liam Payne’s tragic death, his former fiancée Maya Henry has spoken out.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the supermodel claimed Liam battled severe drug addiction, engaged in sexting with fans and struggled with his own identity.

Henry shared, "Initially, it was the drug use and addictions that tore us apart. Anyone who has been with an addict understands how difficult that is."

Describing her relationship as truly volatile, the 23-year-old star revealed, "I knew there were parts of himself he was struggling with—parts of his identity he wasn't ready to fully face, even within our relationship."

Sources close to the One Direction singer told the publication that his wide substance use included cocaine ketamine, MDMA, and pharmaceutical pills.

Liam’s death left his ex-deeply heartbroken as she faced online harassment with trolls blaming her for the singer’s passing.

It is pertinent to mention the 31-year-old singer was found dead on October 16, 2024 after falling from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, sending shockwaves all through Hollywood with his untimely demise.
