Prince William travelled to Switzerland with daughter Princess Charlotte

As celebration began for after the Lionesses’ victory in the Euro 2025 final, Prince William won hearts with a playful yet heartwarming moment he shared with his daughter Princess Charlotte, gently teasing her before giving her a winners medal.
On Sunday, July 27, the father daughter duo took a trip to Switzerland to show their support for England in the Women's Euros final.
After a tense 1-1 draw that stretched into extra time, the Lionesses ended the thrilling match with a dramatic penalty shootout.
The 43-year-old Prince of Wales, serving as the Patron of the Football Association, stepped on the pitch after the final whistle to award medals to both English and Spanish teams.
With one medal seemingly left over, William handed the extra to his 10-year-old daughter.
Prior to being handed the medal, the Prince and Charlotte won hearts with a playful exchange, after which William was seen smiling as he presented the medal to the Princess as she eagerly reached for it.
After the match, a glimpse of the Lionesses’ victory and the Royals attending the match was shared on the Princes of Wales’ instagram.
"An incredible night for lionesses and England in Basel. Congratulations to Sarina, the team and all the support staff. Champions!" the caption read.
In a joint statement, Prince William and Princess Charlotte also addressed the major win saying, "What a game! Lionesses, you are the champions of Europe and we couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. Enjoy this moment England."
