Meghan Markle's bold move against royal protocol exposed
Meghan Markle's darling bold practice apparently threatens royal protocol
Meghan Markle's latest practice of welcoming guest apparently threatens royal protocol.
It all started when the Duchess of Sussex appeared in Harper's Bazaar interview, conducted by journalist Kaitlyn Greenidge at the Duchess’ brownstone in New York.
In her article, the journalist revealed that the royal's house manager announced, "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex".
The publisher noted the announcement was made "even though we appear to be the only other two people in the house".
Now, according to royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, the 44-year-old actress’ move is a break in royal protocol.
While explaining it to Daily Mail, the commentator noted that "the journalist instead should have been announced to Meghan, rather than Meghan being announced to the journalist.
Meghan Markle's duchess title has always been a topic of debate, as she and her husband, Prince Harry, left royal duties in 2020.
The couple was granted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles by the late Queen Elizabeth II when they married in 2018.
However, when they left the royal family five years ago, before moving to the United States, the ex-working royals kept their Sussex titles.
