Taylor Swift attends Chiefs game with Selena Gomez amid bridesmaid buzz
The 'Opalite' singer brings Selena Gomez to Chiefs game for special appearance
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez’s bond seems to get stronger with each passing day.
According to PEOPLE, the 35-year-old and the 33-year-old best friends were spotted at Arrowhead Stadium during Travis Kelce’s latest game.
Swift marked her fifth attendance at an NFL game this season, as the Kansas City Chiefs played against the Houston Texans on Sunday, December 7.
While the Opalite hitmaker maintained her usual low-key presence, a fan posted a photo on X (formerly Twitter) showing Swift and Gomez in the stands.
This update follows online reports suggesting that the Only Murders in the Building actress kindly turned down the 14-time Grammy winner’s repeated request for her to be a bridesmaid, believing she might unintentionally shift the spotlight away from her friend.
The Disney star’s response mirrors Swift's own approach at Gomez’s wedding to Benny Blanco, where the Wood songstress kept a low profile and enjoyed the celebration without drawing attention away from her pal.
It is worth noting that Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have been friends for approximately 17 years, having first met in 2008 when they were both dating Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, respectively.
