Actors Bill Camp, Roman Griffin Davis, Michael Rispoli, and Jordana Spiro have completed filming on Operation Fastlink, a coming-of-age crime thriller shot in New Jersey.

The film marks the feature directorial debut of Jerry Careccio, who also wrote the screenplay.

While key plot details remain undisclosed, the story draws inspiration from real-life events tied to a US Department of Justice cybercrime case.

It centers on the FBI’s “Operation Fastlink” investigation, which targeted the underground “warez” piracy networks distributing movies, music, and video games in the early 2000s.

The cast also includes Steven Strait and Joseph Russo, alongside Tyler Aser, Lauren B. Martin, James Mount, and Wyatt Danieluk.

Production is led by Rob Alicea and Tim O'Hanlon under Velvet Horizon Films, with Careccio producing through Bad Idea. Paul DeAngelo serves as executive producer.

In a statement, Careccio praised the ensemble, highlighting the dynamic between Camp and Griffin Davis’ characters.

He described the story as an emotionally intense journey, focusing on the relationship between a former crime boss and his teenage protégé.

Operation Fastlink aims to blend crime drama with coming-of-age elements, offering a character-driven look at a little-explored chapter of early internet history.
