Amy Schumer has announced divorce from husband Chris Fischer after seven years of marriage.

Taking to her Instagram, the comedian and actress made light of the situation by sharing the news with a humorous touch.

Schumer ended her announcement with, “Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”

PEOPLE reported an insider’s tip about the split while sharing recent speculation surrounding the news before it was announced.

“They’re privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” a source had told the publication on November 13. “They are both committed to the relationship.”

While another one “close to the pair” has now claimed, “There’s nothing ugly. It’s a cohesive split. They’ve just been finalizing a few things.”

“On Nov. 11, Schumer removed all previous photos from her Instagram profile, which included those featuring Fischer,” the report added.

Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer got married in February 2018 and share a son, Gene David Fischer, who was born in May 2019.
