Tom Holland earns high praise as ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day' film wraps

Tom Holland’s upcoming film’s director gushed about the actor’s outstanding performance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

On Saturday, December 20, director Destin Daniel Cretton announced that filming has wrapped on the upcoming thriller.

Sharing the update on Instagram, Cretton described the project as “the biggest, most rewarding film I've ever been a part of.”

In his post, the director expressed gratitude to his family for supporting him throughout production before turning his attention to the cast and crew.

He thanked the film’s “amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day,” as well as “our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship, who made me laugh so hard my stomach never stopped hurting.”

“I love you all so much and can’t wait for the world to see your stunning work on the big screen,” Cretton added.

He also gave special praise to Holland, writing, “And of course, to @tomholland2013, for your kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship.”

Destin Daniel Cretton concluded, “That’s a wrap on Spider-Man: Brand New Day!”

Moreover, production on the film began earlier this year, with the Impossible star spotted filming scenes in Glasgow,
