Tori Spelling reveals 'hellish' eight-week health battle that left her bedridden
Tori Spelling returned to her podcast after an eight-week absence due to illness
Tori Spelling has candidly shared the "hell" of the last two months, revealing that a series of brutal illnesses left her unable to walk unaided.
Returning to her MisSPELLING podcast after an eight-week hiatus, the 52-year-old actress explained how a simple sinus issue spiralled into a nightmare involving RSV, COVID-19, and vertigo.
"When mom goes down, the ship goes down," she remarked, highlighting the struggle of managing a home without extra help.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star admitted that "in my financial world," hiring staff isn't an option. Consequently, her five children—Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau—had to step up.
Spelling described the experience as "outrageous," noting: “It was so bad that … I couldn't even, like, come downstairs.
"They would have to help me walk to the bathroom to pee. Like, it was outrageous, and you feel like a child.”
The emotional toll was just as heavy as the physical. After recently finding her feet following her divorce from Dean McDermott, Spelling found it "heartbreaking" to stop cooking and return to takeaways.
She felt a deep sense of hopelessness as her eldest daughter, Stella, took over school runs. “I kept saying every day, ‘I'm sorry, guys,’ “ she shared.
“I'm hoping tomorrow I'll feel better.” Now recovering after several rounds of antibiotics, the mother of five is finally finding her way back to normalcy after a period she described as "depressing."
