Taylor Frankie Paul to receive full payout despite show cancellation
Taylor Frankie Paul to receive full salary despite The Bachelorette being axed
Reality star Taylor Frankie Paul is reportedly set to receive her full salary for the twenty-second season of "The Bachelorette", despite the programme being abruptly removed from the television schedule.
According to reports from TMZ, sources close to the production indicate that Paul’s contract guarantees payment for work already completed.
The influencer had finished filming the entire season and was actively engaged in a promotional tour when the decision was made to halt the premiere.
While the exact figure has not been officially disclosed, industry insiders suggest the payment falls within the low-to-mid six-figure range.
This financial obligation will reportedly be met by Warner Bros. Discovery, the entity responsible for producing the series.
The Walt Disney Company made the high-profile decision to pull the season just days before its scheduled debut.
This move followed the leak of a distressing video from 2023, which appeared to show Paul involved in a domestic dispute with her former partner, Dakota Mortensen. In the footage, Paul is seen striking Mortensen with chairs.
Addressing the controversy, a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson stated: "In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family."
The footage was originally brought to light by TMZ. Having previously gained fame through "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives", Paul is now focusing on her family and navigating the fallout of the cancellation.
