Four teenage boys, all age 17 and from Texas, are facing aggravated kidnapping charges for allegedly seizing and physically attacking a former peer.

The incident, reportedly beginning on February 19, involved the victim leaving Del Valle High School with three of the alleged perpetrators, as detailed in arrest affidavits obtained by the Travis County Sheriff's Office and reported by CBS Austin, WDBJ 7, and KHOU 11.

It’s alleged that the victim was enticed to visit a nearby residence where a fourth individual was awaiting, as noted by CBS Austin, WDBJ 7, and KHOU 11.

The four individuals, characterised by the school district as “former” students, allegedly transported the victim to a garage where one them reportedly threatened him with a firearm while others restrained him with duct tape on his hands, feet, and mouth, according to investigative agencies.

The report asserts, as conveyed by CBS Austin, WDBJ 7, and KHOU 11, that the victim endured burns, was coerced into drinking alcohol, and was battered with items including aluminum bats, a walking cane, and a belt.

The victim additionally informed investigators, referencing arrest affidavits reported by the outlets, that he was warned of potential harm, noting that his interaction with one suspect’s girlfriend was purportedly the reason for his targeting.

Further, the victim claimed he was threatened with harm to himself and his family if he reported the assault to law enforcement, as recorded by CBS Austin and WDBJ 7.

The alleged assault was reportedly captured on video by one of the suspects, based on the affidavits referenced by CBS Austin.

Ultimately, the victim was freed and he notified the authorities of the purported incident, as stated by CBS Austin and WDBJ 7.

Investigators found substantial injuries on the victim that matched his account of the event, detailing bruising across his back, chest, and legs, referenced from affidavits according to CBS Austin and WDBJ 7.

Moreover, it was noted that several suspects confessed to carrying out the planned attack, which had been in the works for about a week, according to affidavits reported by CBS Austin.

If they are found guilty, the four accused face incarceration ranging from five to 99 years, as reported by local outlet KVUE.
