Young Prince Louis praised by fans for charming conduct at St George's Chapel
Observers noted that Prince Louis appeared respectful while walking with the Wales family
Prince Louis appeared to be on his best behaviour ever with an impeccable show of manners as he joined his family for Sunday's Easter service.
The seven-year-old, who is Prince William and Kate's youngest child, has long been renowned for his cheeky antics when he appears in public – something that has won him legions of fans.
However, he surprised onlookers with a perfect show of behaviour as he obediently walked in line with his family to St George's Chapel in Windsor.
Wearing a double-breasted suit, Louis mirrored his well-behaved older sister, 10-year-old Princess Charlotte, as they waved in union to crowds.
Royal fans soon gushed on social media, with one person writing: "The HRH's of Wales are raising their children to be respectful and well-mannered to all that they meet. Young HRH Prince Louis is learning very well."
Even after the hour-long service, his discipline remained intact. As the family departed, Louis performed the perfect royal handshake as he bid farewell to the Dean of Windsor, Christopher Cocksworth.
The event marked the Wales family's first appearance at the service since 2023, following Kate's treatment for cancer throughout 2024. Other royals in attendance included Prince George, 12, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.
This refined display is a far cry from Louis's wild reactions at Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022, where he famously covered his ears and teased his mother.
Most recently, at the 2025 Christmas service, he was seen enthusiastically focused on a gift of chocolates.
