Kylie Jenner reveals drug use and scary magic mushroom experience

Kylie Jenner shared a terrifying experience she had with psychedelic mushrooms as she talked about her encounters with drugs.

The beauty mogul, 28, unexpectedly joined friends Stassie Karanikolaou and Victoria Villarroel on their podcast, Better Half with Stas & Vic.

While the group reminisced about their recent outing to the Coachella music festival, Kylie made her startling revelation.

“Somebody asked me today, ‘Would you like some shrooms tonight?’ and I said, ‘I’m not sure if I want to be on shrooms in a crowd,’” she started. “I get overly emotional and might start to weep. Do I really want to feel like crying tonight?”

Kylie then recounted a distressing mushroom experience during an event for Stass.

“It was supposed to be a gathering, and I took mushrooms, and I arrived, and the tears wouldn’t stop coming,” she recounted.

Stassie later revealed that they often feel uneasy after smoking cannabis and recounted the time they “hotboxed” in a vehicle headed to Coachella.

"Should I mention that we were hotboxing on our way to Coachella... And I can't stand weed, and I recall them smoking in the [car], which made me want to cry, and I was at a loss for words because...” Stassie admitted, before stopping mid-sentence.

The friends have been frequenting the celebrated festival for the last decade, and this year, Kylie welcomed her festival crew, along with boyfriend Timothee Chalamet, to her luxurious Palm Springs residence.

She was seen having a blast with her sister Kendall Jenner and her close friend, model Hailey Bieber, who is married to Coachella headliner Justin Bieber.

Kylie was thrilled to watch Justin's performance and arrived in Palm Springs in a long tank top featuring his image.

She and her pals also cranked up Justin’s tunes throughout the house and showcased her glittery nails, commenting they were “screaming Bieberchella vibes.”

Kylie isn’t the only famous figure trying magic mushrooms—boxer Mike Tyson revealed he used them while prepping for his fight with Jake Paul in 2024.

The heavyweight icon squared off against the YouTuber-turned-boxer last November in Texas in a contentious event criticised for the age disparity.
