Jake Hall dies in Spain following villa incident after reported night out

Reality television star Jake Hall has died at the age of 35 after being found dead at a villa in Mallorca, Spain, according to multiple reports.

Hall, best known for appearing on the reality series The Only Way Is Essex, was reportedly discovered with serious injuries at a property in the Santa Margalida area during the early hours of Wednesday, May 6.

Local outlet reports cited by British media claimed authorities were called to the villa at around 7:30 a.m. following an incident involving a glass door or window. 

Officials reportedly believe Hall suffered fatal injuries after crashing through glass during a night of partying.

According to reports, police interviewed several witnesses who were present at the property at the time of the incident. 

Local authorities are also said to be investigating allegations that drugs and alcohol had been consumed at the gathering.

An autopsy is expected to determine the official cause of death, while Spain’s Guardia Civil has launched an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Hall’s death was later confirmed by British outlets including the BBC and The Independent.

The reality star is survived by his eight-year-old daughter River, whom he shared with former partner Misse Beqiri, known for appearing on Ladies of London.

In a statement shared with People, a representative for Beqiri said the family is currently focused on supporting their daughter through the tragedy.

“At this time, Misse’s focus is on supporting and protecting their child as they come to terms with this devastating loss,” the statement read.

Just one day before his death, Hall shared an emotional Instagram post featuring clips of himself painting alongside moments with his daughter.

“Life is bollocks sometimes but I’m gonna try remember the good things,” he wrote.

Friends, fans, and former co-stars have since paid tribute online, including Georgia Harrison, who described the news as heartbreaking.

Hall first joined The Only Way Is Essex in 2015 and remained associated with the ITV reality franchise for several years. 

Outside of television, he also launched fashion ventures, including Prévu Studio, a brand reportedly worn by celebrities including Bella Hadid.

In a statement following the news, the TOWIE team expressed condolences to Hall’s loved ones, calling the development “very sad news.”
