Natalie Portman unveils new Parisian life after leaving the US
Natalie Portman is mother to two children: 14-year-old son Aleph, and 9-year-old daughter Amalia
Natalie Portman offers her fans a unique glimpse of her life in Paris, having left the US more than ten years ago.
The “Black Swan” actress, 44, shared a series of pictures on her Instagram Thursday, giving a peek into her experiences in the City of Lights as she awaits the arrival of her third child.
“Recent Paris Moments,” she captured the series of images.
Her post started with a selfie by the River Seine, followed by images of renowned art, vibrant flower arrangements, and several delightful pictures of her dog.
The “Thor” star made the move to the European city in 2014 with her then-spouse, Benjamin Millepied, when he accepted a role with the Paris Opera Ballet.
Their marriage ended in March 2024 amid rumors of Millepied's reported infidelity with environmental advocate Camille Étienne. Portman is now in a relationship with French musician, Tanguy Destable.
In April, she announced expecting her first child with Destable after dating for just over a year.
“Tanguy and I are thrilled,” she shared with Harper’s Bazaar at the time. “I’m incredibly thankful. Recognising it’s a privilege and a miracle.”
“Growing up hearing how challenging it can be to conceive, I’m surrounded by loved ones who’ve faced tough times with it. So, I approach this with respect. Celebrating something so joyous also acknowledges its challenges.”
“I understand how fortunate this is,” she added. “I'm deeply aware and profoundly grateful. My appreciation knows no bounds.”
Portman is already a mother to two children: 14-year-old son Aleph, and 9-year-old daughter Amalia.
Destable has two sons — Étienne, born in April 2016, and Vadim, born in 2020 — with his former partner, French actress Louise Bourgoin.
