Kylie Jenner shares how she manages Khy and expands her fashion empire

Reality star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner is giving fans a closer look at how she runs her fashion label Khy, describing an intensely hands-on approach that keeps her deeply involved in every stage of production.

In a new interview with Vogue Business published on April 27, the 28-year-old said she is “super involved” in the day-to-day operations of the brand, which she launched in 2023 before taking full leadership control the following year.

“I’m there every Wednesday, and then I never stop blowing their phones up, even on the weekend,” Jenner said, joking that her team is likely “over” her constant communication.

She explained that her creative process begins with inspiration boards before moving into sketches and multiple rounds of sampling.

Jenner launched Khy in collaboration with business partners Jens and Emma Grede, who are also known for their work with several high-profile celebrity brands.

According to earlier reports, the brand’s debut collection, created with designer Namilia, generated over $1 million in sales within its first hour.

The business venture adds to Jenner’s expanding portfolio, which also includes her beauty empire, Kylie Cosmetics, launched in 2015.

She said her experience in cosmetics has directly shaped how she manages Khy, particularly in areas like team-building, customer focus, and product detail.

Jenner also hinted at future expansion plans for Khy, including the possibility of opening a physical retail store.

Beyond fashion, the entrepreneur has previously spoken about long-term plans for her beauty brand, including the possibility of passing it down to her daughter, Stormi Webster, in the future, envisioning it as a legacy business built to last.
