Lexie Brown breaks silence after being dragged into Megan and Klay split drama
The controversy follows Megan Thee Stallion’s posts about ending her relationship
Lexie Brown is shutting down online speculation linking her to the breakup between rapper Megan Thee Stallion and NBA star Klay Thompson, calling the rumors “not true” in a public statement.
The Seattle Storm guard addressed the controversy in an Instagram Stories post shared on Sunday, April 26, writing that she had “no involvement” in the situation and asking to be separated from the ongoing social media discussion.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online and I want to be clear, none of it is true and I have no involvement in this situation,” Brown wrote, adding that her focus remains on the start of a new professional season.
Her statement came shortly after Megan Thee Stallion posted a series of messages on social media that appeared to address her split from Thompson, alleging issues of trust and fidelity during their relationship.
In her own remarks, Megan confirmed she had ended the relationship, stating that trust, respect, and loyalty were “non-negotiable” and that she was stepping away to focus on herself.
The rapper also suggested in her posts that Thompson had not been fully honest during their time together, referencing emotional strain and alleged infidelity.
Megan and Thompson first went public with their relationship in 2025, later making appearances together at high-profile events, including a gala in New York City.
Over time, they frequently shared moments from their relationship on social media and were seen supporting each other at games and public appearances.
Despite the breakup and surrounding speculation, Brown’s statement aims to distance herself from the situation entirely as online conversations around the split continue to circulate.
