Rebecca Donaldson reveals why boyfriend Carlos Sainz is the ‘best dressed’ F1 star

Rebecca Donaldson is giving herself full credit for boyfriend Carlos Sainz’s stylish Formula 1 looks.

The Scottish model made a rare comment about her romance with the Williams Racing star during the 2026 Miami Grand Prix weekend, where she confidently declared Sainz the “best dressed” driver on the grid.

Speaking to What People Are Wearing at the Miami International Autodrome, Donaldson did not hesitate when asked which F1 driver had the best sense of style.

“This is easy this one,” she said. “Obviously Carlos Sainz, and obviously because I buy his clothes.”

Donaldson also laughed while admitting the Spanish racing star’s fashion choices have evolved since they began dating in 2023. When asked whether his style was different before their relationship, she simply replied, “Yes.”

During the Miami race weekend, Carlos Sainz kept his outfit casual, sporting layered Williams Racing shirts with tropical-inspired prints, tan shorts, white sneakers, tube socks, and a matching cap.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Donaldson showcased her own understated fashion sense in a tan top and brown skirt paired with accessories from luxury brands, including vintage Chanel sunglasses and an Audemars Piguet watch. She described her personal style as “simple” but “quietly sexy.”

The model also revealed that one of her current beauty favourites is an affordable L’Oréal lip gloss, saying she has been using it “every single day.”

Donaldson and Sainz were first linked in the summer of 2023 and have since made several appearances together at Formula 1 events around the world.
