Charissa Thompson gushes over Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce's 'magical' wedding

Charissa Thompson is sharing new details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's lavish wedding, describing the celebration as nothing short of "magical."

Speaking on the latest episode of the Calm Down podcast with co-host Erin Andrews, the Fox Sports broadcaster reflected on attending the couple's July 3 wedding at New York City's Madison Square Garden.

"Congrats to both of them. It was magical," Thompson said, describing the ceremony as a "royal wedding."

She admitted that witnessing the couple exchange vows even made her think differently about commitment.

"Watching them get married... when you find your person, everything else in the world is right," Thompson said.

"You can have everything in the world, but if you don't have the person to share it with, then it's not worth anything."

She also thanked the newlyweds for including her and Andrews in their special weekend, adding that they both "love" Swift and Kelce.

Andrews echoed the sentiment, saying "magical" was the perfect word to describe the celebration.

"I had a great time," she said, praising the atmosphere of the star-studded event.

Beyond the ceremony itself, Thompson said one of her favourite parts of the weekend was seeing friends from both Swift's and Kelce's lives come together in one place.

She recalled enjoying time with familiar faces while also meeting people she had previously only heard about through the couple.

Andrews agreed, saying everyone she met throughout the weekend was welcoming and fun, making the celebration even more memorable.

Thompson and Andrews have maintained a close friendship with Swift and Kelce for several years.

The pair have vacationed together in Montana, attended the opening of Kelce's 1587 Prime steakhouse and have frequently praised the couple's relationship during interviews and on their podcast.
