Charli XCX, the iconic British singer has been making waves for her relationship with George Daniel, The 1975 drummer.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Speed Drive crooner made a revelation sharing that she and the Somebody Else drummer have decided to get engaged and will be tying the knot in the near future.

She penned the caption, "Charlie XCX and George Daniel are (expletive) for life!"

Charli initially shared the news discreetly on Monday, revealing her engagement ring in a post on her private Instagram exclusively for her fans.

Subsequently, the singer (whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison) officially announced the engagement on Tuesday morning by posting photos with the indie-pop artist and producer on her public Instagram.

In her initial post, the music sensation posted a laid-back self-portrait, showcasing her hand adorned with a diamond ring.

In a subsequent, more formal social media announcement, the alternative-pop singer presented a series of images featuring the couple embracing and a tray with tea, including a box containing an engagement ring, hinting at the manner in which the producer popped the question.
