Sofía Vergara has made headlines when she disclosed that she underwent knee surgery and her new boyfriend, Justin Saliman played a significant role in her recovery process.

The Modern Family alum took to her Instagram Stories on Friday, April 12, to share that she underwent knee surgery — and was being cared for by her new boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.

Vergara, who finalized her divorce from Joe Manganiello in April 2024, dropped a snap of her new beau Saliman grinning while sporting dark blue medical scrubs, and she wrote the the caption, “If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night... ! Luv u.”

The speculation of their relationship ignited after the America's Got Talent judge, announced her divorce from Joe Manganiello in July 2023, and was first spotted with Saliman in October 2023.

As per the reports of PEOPLE, the source revealed at that time, “She is enjoying life. She seems positive and full of energy.”

The insider added, “Sofía has been handling the divorce well. It wasn’t an easy decision, but she is doing great now."
