Selena Gomez has stepped forward to shed light on her Instagram hiatus, mental health, and her cosmetic brand, Rare Beauty.

While conversing at the TIME100 Summit in New York City, the Only Murder In The Building star shared about the beauty standards, her social media use, and her bipolar depression diagnosis in 2020.

Serving her looks in a chic black Brandon Maxwell corset maxi dress, Gomez took the stage as a panelist.

Gomez said, “I don't think I'm going anywhere. I am enjoying this a little too much,” adding, "I took four years off of Instagram, and I let my team post for me for those years.”

The Wolves singer also shared about the makeup brand, “I didn't want to really enter the cosmetics world without a mission.”

She added, “It was actually a dream that kind of happened within this brand, and on top of it we were able to make hopefully decent products.”

Gomez, who is currently in the headlines for her budding romance with Benny Blanco, also freely discussed mental health.

"Once I finally found the answer, it actually made me feel better to know and understand what was happening in my mind," she revealed.

Gomez further said, "I'm proud to say I've been lucky enough to have the right medications, and I believe in taking care of yourself."
