Chris Pratt has shared an update with his fans as he disclosed that he went through a severe injury while filming the upcoming project.

The Mercy star took to his Instagram, to share two photos, and it showed an intense injury on his ankle.

In shared pictures, the first image shows his foot resting on a chair with ice pack tied around his ankle, while the other is a close-up shot featuring fresh scars.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star penned the caption, “Mercy filming day 4. I have such a great stunt team!”

Pratt added, “AND I sometimes try to get in there and do some of my own stuff. Today, daddy caught a metal post to the ankle. Should be interesting moving forward.”

His post ignited the fans’ concern, as they rushed to the comment section to wish him good health.

One fan wrote, “Hope you’re better soon Chris, love the movies you’re in, hope to see more!”

Another noted, “Ouch!!! I hope you are ok!! Heal fast”

Chris Pratt is set to star in a new sci-fi thriller alongside Rebecca Ferguson.

Deadline has shared a synopsis of the movie, which follows a detective (Pratt) who is accused of a violent crime and must prove his innocence in a future where capital crime has risen.

The cast also includes Rafi Gavron, Chris Sullivan, Kenneth Choi, and Kylie Rogers.

Although no release date has been confirmed yet.
