Priyanka Chopra recently confirmed that she won't be gracing the Met Gala this year as she expressed her excitement to see another star take the spotlight at the prestigious event.

The Citadel starlet shared that during her conversation with Access Hollywood, during the promotional rounds for the new documentary, Tiger, she will miss the event this year since she is presently busy with filming.

Priyanka shared, “I don't even know who's going this year. I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people's creativity during the Met Gala and I am really excited to see how it will turn out. I actually have not read anything about who all is going this year.”

When told that the Hollywood actress Zendaya will be attending the event, the Barfi star replied, "She is amazing, so we definitely look forward to her."

It is worth noting here that in 2017 Priyanka and her husband Nick Jonas debuted as a couple first time at Met Gala 2017 and they also graced the event last year.
