Kylie Jenner faces criticism after her Greece restaurant appearance

Kylie Jenner received backlash over her  appearance at a restaurant in Greece  after the  owners of the place thanked her on social media.

Earlier this month, the reality star dined at Tassia restaurant in the Greek village of Fiscardo.

After her outing the owners Polychronics Dendrinos and Tassia Dendrinou took the restaurant's official Instagram page to share the special moment.

The owners shared a photo of themselves with Kylie in which she was wearing a beige coloured dress.

“We had the honor of welcoming Kylie Jennner to our restaurant, an iconic entrepreneur and global trendsetter. She experienced a taste of our Greek hospitality and cuisine, it was a true pleasure to host such a remarkable guest, we hope to welcome her again soon!,” read the text on the photo.

In the caption they noted,“ true honor to welcome Kylie Jenner to our restaurant. An inspiring guest, and one of the most influential women of her generation — thank you for embracing our Greek hospitality. We hope to see you again soon!”

Soon after the post was shared on Instagram, the owners received immense backlash as fans expressed outrage over thanking Kylie publicly.

One fan wrote, “A simple - Thanks for visiting Kylie Jenner would have been enough. An honor why? Smh”

"Honor? Really?," another added.

A third noted, “Babes where’s the honor ? Lmao”

“Honor?! Did she find cure for cancer or what?!?” another penned.

A fifth user commented, “Honor lol… as if she were an important figure for humanity”

Kylie Jenner also shared a photo of herself with best friend Anastasia Karanikolaou as they were dining by the harbor at the historic eatery on Kefalonia.

 Tassia restaurant is famous for serving home cooked dishes using locally sourced ingredients with many of the vegetables coming from their own garden.
