Sadie Sink addresses rumours over her ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ role

Sadie Sink, who is gearing up to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, finally addressed the rumours over her much anticipated film.

Although Sink’s role has sparked plenty of speculation as she has been cast in the superhero film but details about her character remain under wraps, prompting numerous theories—many tied to her signature red hair.

Now, recently, during her interview with Entertainment Weekly the American actress spoke about her mysterious role in the upcoming movie.

“A lot of people forget that hair color can change, but yeah, I understand all of the theories,” the Stranger Things star told the outlet when asked about the guesses surrounding her role.

The Dear Zoe performer kept her character under wraps, adding, “People will just have to wait and see. I’m excited for all of it to maybe be put to rest.”

One rumour mentioned during the interview was that she might portray the X-Men’s Jean Grey.

To which the 23-year-old actress responded, “That was happening before I even knew that I would be working on this project. I was like, ‘Wait! What are people talking about?'”

As per reported, the The Whale actress will star alongside Tom Holland as Peter Parker and Zendaya as MJ, as well as Jacob Batalon, Liza Colón-Zayas, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, and Marvin Jones III.

Additionally, Sadie Sink is also expected to return to the MCU in Avengers: Secret Wars, which is scheduled to begin production in London in 2026.
