Benny Blanco’s mother faces scary burglary at her home

Benny Blanco’s mother, Sandra Levin, who is also Selena Gomez’s mother-in-law, had to barricade herself in a bathroom during a terrifying burglary at her Studio City, California home earlier this week.

As per PEOPLE report, the incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Monday, November 24, when three men allegedly broke a sliding glass door to gain entry.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Levin was home alone at the time she heard the noise and ran upstairs, locking herself in a bathroom while calling 911.

Authorities reported that the suspects kicked down the bathroom door during the scary robbery.

Although the Roses singer’s mother was unharmed, police said several rooms in the house were “ransacked” and multiple items were stolen.

NBC Los Angeles reported that the three suspects, all wearing masks and dark clothing, had already fled the scene by the time law enforcement arrived.

Moreover, Blanco has always shared a close bond with his mother. In 2024, he described Levin as his “best friend,” telling PEOPLE magazine.

The 37-year-old said, "My mom's my best friend. Every Sunday we go to the farmer's market. I cook her lunch, we swim, we gossip about stuff. She sends me things and is like, 'Do you think it's true?' I'm like, 'I don't even know who these two people are we're talking about.'"

Sandra Levin has also been a supportive presence in Benny Blanco’s life especially regarding his relationship with his new wife, Selena Gomez, whom he married in September, 27, 2025.
