Amanda Seyfried opens up about supporting Sydney Sweeney amid backlash
The 'Euphoria' star shows her co-star something special she has carried since filming together
Amanda Seyfried and Sydney Sweeney formed a stong bond on the set of The Housemaid.
While speaking to People, the 40-year-old reflected on how quickly she connected with her co-star while filming.
"We related over people experiences" the Mean Girls star said, further adding that she grew to genuinely “care about” the Euphoria actress during filming.
It's easy to support you. I also probably give way too much unsolicited advice, 'This is what I would do,'" Seyfried said addressing her 28-year-old co-star.
Sweeney didn’t hesitate to reassure her, saying, “No, but I appreciate it.”
"I knew she appreciated it, but I was also like, 'Take it with a grain of salt!' " Seyfried playfully quipped.
The Anyone But You actress then pulled out her phone, flipping back the case to reveal a hidden polaroid of the two.
"This is how much you have changed my life this year and I love you," she said to Sayfried, who seemed to be visibly moved by the gesture.
“That makes me so happy,” she replied.
