Is Hayley Williams finally saying goodbye to Paramore? 'It’s Time'
Hayley Williams gets candid about her future
Hayley William opened up about her future in the beloved rock band Paramore.
During her chat with Amy Poehler on the Good Hang podcast, on December 2, the 36-year-old singer shed light on her approaching solo tour for her new album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.
Back in September, the Hard Times hitmaker clarified that Paramore would be going on a break, but hasn’t disbanded.
But after the announcement, she dropped her solo album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, and is now actively promoting her upcoming tour.
Speaking to the Parks and Recreation star, Hayley shared that creating her third solo album has helped her in "finding herself."
"I'm finding myself really nervous because I think I, for my own good, really need to understand who I am outside of the band," she explained. "It's time."
"I'm looking at 40. It's not that many years away, and I'm just like, I should probably know who I am outside of this entity," she further shared.
Hayley explained that although she is often seen as a “ringleader” in the band, she doesn’t believe it’s “always a positive thing.”
"I feel that, like, it's a huge responsibility to be a mouthpiece for a group of people," she said, in reference to her bandmates, drummer Zac Farro and guitarist Taylor York. "We're all very different individuals," she said. "I wanna speak for myself."
