‘The Life of a Showgirl’ star shares one person she turns to for wisdom on Stephen Colbert Show
Taylor Swift recently sang praises for music legendary whom she always turned to for advice on career and life.
The Cruel Summer singer named Stevie Nicks as one of the “most influential people in her life” during an appearance on the latest episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on December 10.
Taylor revealed that she would “try to find through lines in many people’s experiences” and therefore, she’s fortunate to be able to have Stevie in her life.
“I have Stevie in my life in a way that affects me positively constantly,” said the 35-year-old.
The Lover singer continued, “Being able to talk with her and have a phone call with her and hear what she's been through.”
Taylor further said that Stevie not only “paved the way” for her, but also for many other artists as well.
Gushing over the music icon, the Fate of Ophelia crooner added, “I feel like she has lent her very magical, wonderful, wise approach.”
Elsewhere in her interview, Taylor made it clear on Stephen show that she’s not going to slow it down at this time of her life.
“I think there are certain corners of our society that really love that and look up to longevity,” reflected the songstress.
However, Taylor mentioned that there “are also corners that are like, ‘Give someone else a turn! Can't you just go away so we can talk about how good you were?’”
“I don’t want to!” she quipped.
