Ariana Grande shares overwhelming reaction to Barbra Streisand’s ‘kindest surprise’

Barbra Streisand paid a heartfelt tribute to Ariana Grande on social media and the Wicked songstress couldn’t have enough of the praise.

Sharing a photograph of herself with Grande, Streisand wrote, “Ariana is a young woman with an amazing talent. She has a beautiful voice like no one else, and so much more.”

The still dates back to 2019, when Grande had surprised Streisand during her concert at the United Center in Chicago, per Rolling Stone.

“She can act, she can dance, she can be funny! She’s also sweet, kind and thoughtful. I’m very proud of you Ariana and thanks for singing with me on my album…,” the iconic actress and singer’s caption continued.

She concluded the tribute by writing “Big hug, Barbra,” while further detailing in P.S. that Grande was “wonderful on Saturday Night Live and looked so pretty”.

The thank u, next singer was beside herself after reading her senior peer’s kind words, telling her in the comments that she “made my day, my year, my life!”

“Barbra !!!!!!!! what !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my goodness, thank you so much for this kindest surprise today! you made my day, my year, my life!” she wrote. “this means so much, coming from you. i just love you so. i miss you and i hope i get to hug you soon… all my love and appreciation. thank you.” (Sic)

Notably, Ariana Grande had hosted the Christmas episode of SNL on December 20, with musical guest Cher.

While she recently wrapped the shooting for a fourth Meet the Parents film, in which she co-stars with Barbra Streisand, among others.
