Why Amanda Frances left Rachel Zoe’s dinner party in tears
Amanda Frances revealed her son Zion died from a brain haemorrhage just five days after birth
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Amanda Frances has shared a deeply personal account of the tragic loss of her infant son, Zion.
During the 22 January episode, the 40-year-old entrepreneur, famously known as the "Money Queen", revealed that Zion died in her arms just five days after his birth in 2022.
Frances explained that her twin sons, Canaan and Zion, were born 11 weeks prematurely via an emergency C-section.
While Zion's placenta was faulty and he sadly suffered a fatal brain haemorrhage in the NICU, his brother Canaan spent 68 days in intensive care before coming home.
"Zion, unfortunately, died in my arms the first time I ever held him," she told viewers in a moving confessional.
The reality star found herself overwhelmed with emotion during a "psychic dinner party" hosted by Rachel Zoe, which coincided with the third anniversary of Zion’s passing.
After a confrontation with Dorit Kemsley, Frances tearfully told the group: "Zion died three years ago today, and I'm holding on by a thread."
Amanda and her fiancé, Eddie Tsivislavsky, spoke about the "bittersweet" nature of the week, as Zion’s anniversary falls just five days after Canaan’s birthday.
On Instagram, she previously noted the complexity of her grief: "This week holds so much for me—so much love, so much pain... all of this is true, all at once."
Despite the heartbreak, Frances remains focused on her family, including their baby daughter Delilah, and her belief that "we can heal from anything."
