Charlie Sheen has candidly addressed his ongoing relationship with former Two and a Half Men costar Jon Cryer, revealing that the pair have yet to speak privately since the release of his documentary.

Attending a "For Your Consideration" event for his Netflix project, aka Charlie Sheen, in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the actor reflected on the bond they shared for eight years as onscreen brothers.

Despite their history, Sheen admitted to PEOPLE magazine that he often hesitates to initiate contact. "Every time this comes up, I say I'm going to [reach out to him] and I never do. I don't like to bother people," Sheen explained.

The documentary, which premiered on 10 September 2025, featured significant participation from the 61-year-old Cryer, for which Sheen expressed immense gratitude.

However, when asked about Cryer’s absence from the recent screening event, Sheen jokingly suggested his old friend might still be "a little grudgy" regarding their public fallout in 2011.

"I'm like, 'Dude, what the f----? I got over it. What are we doing, Jon?'" he quipped. Despite the humour, Sheen maintained that Cryer is a "lovely man" and praised the cast for "stepping up" to contribute to the documentary.

Sheen famously departed the hit sitcom in 2011 following a series of highly publicised personal struggles and conflicts with the show's creator.

Since then, he has worked to rebuild his reputation, with aka Charlie Sheen serving as a definitive retrospective of his career and eventual road to recovery and sobriety.
