Jisoo contracts COVID-19, to step away from BLACKPINK's Japan tour
YG Entertainment confirmed K-pop sensation Jisoo is COVID-19 positive

Jisoo, the member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK, will skip the upcoming concerts in Japan as she is COVID-19 positive.
The group’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed the sensation was diagnosed with the virus just two days after showing mild symptoms.
Although her reports first came out negative she did test positive on June 1 and this took a toll over her upcoming performance.
"We are announcing that BLACKPINK's Jisoo has tested positive for COVID-19 today (June 1). Jisoo had mild cold symptoms on May 30. She initially tested negative in a self-diagnosis kit but tested positive today," informed the agency.
"Jisoo really wanted to perform in the shows to keep her promise with her fans, but ultimately, we decided against it for the health and safety of the artist and everyone else."
As Jisoo is going to self-isolation , only three members - Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé will be participating on June 3 and 4.
BLACKPINK is a renowned girl band ready to steal the show in Osaka, Japan.
