  • Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro return to their iconic leading roles.

Universal Pictures delighted comedy fans on Wednesday by releasing the official trailer for "Focker In-Law", the fourth instalment of the beloved "Meet the Parents" franchise.

The footage offers a first look at Ariana Grande, who joins the series as Olivia Jones, a dedicated triathlete and the partner of Henry Focker.

In a nod to the series' heritage, the trailer features Grande facing the formidable Jack Byrnes, played by Robert De Niro, while strapped into the family’s signature lie detector apparatus.

The interaction showcases the high-stakes comedy that has defined the franchise for over two decades.

During the interrogation, De Niro’s character appears notably impressed by the newcomer’s composure, remarking, "You clearly know your stuff."

Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro reprise their iconic roles as Greg and Jack, alongside returning stars Blythe Danner and Teri Polo.

Stiller recently expressed his admiration for his new co-star, stating, "She's such a pro, she's so funny, she's so talented, obviously as a singer, but also she was so funny and amazing in Wicked."

Grande shared this mutual respect, telling the "Today" show that working with the cast she worshipped growing up was a "dream come true."

Directed and written by John Hamburg, who penned the previous three scripts, this sequel follows the 2010 release of "Little Fockers".

While the "Wicked" star prepares for this November debut, fans recall the 2000 original where Greg Focker first attempted to win Jack’s approval. "Focker In-Law" arrives in cinemas on 25 November.
