Madison Beer and Justin Herbert are officially engaged

Madison Beer and Justin Herbert are engaged after less than a year of dating, with the couple sharing the joyful news through a series of romantic proposal photos on social media.

The singer and the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on July 28, captioning it simply: "Meet my fiancé."

The photos captured Herbert proposing beneath a flower-covered arbor before the newly engaged couple celebrated with kisses, dancing and smiles. One image also featured a wooden sign reading, "Mr. and Mrs. Herbert," while another showed Beer proudly displaying her sparkling engagement ring.

Beer’s mother, Tracie, also celebrated the milestone, sharing a screenshot of the couple FaceTiming her with the news.

She wrote that every mother wants her child to be happy and praised Herbert as "the man of her dreams," saying she believes he will "protect and love her forever."

The couple first sparked romance rumours in August 2025 before confirming their relationship with public appearances, including a kiss on the sidelines of a Chargers game later that year.

Last month, Beer described Herbert as arriving in her life "at the perfect time," revealing their relationship feels mature and grounded.

She said she becomes so absorbed in conversations with him that she forgets everything happening around her.

The engagement marks the next chapter for the couple, who have frequently shared heartfelt birthday tributes and affectionate messages since making their relationship public.
