Sylvester Stallone mourned over the death of Carl Weathers, who passed away at the age of 76
Sylvester Stallone is grieving his Rocky co-star Carl Weathers following his death at the age of 76 on February 1, 2024.
Taking to his Instagram account on Saturday, Stallone shared a post, featuring a video of himself in which he expressed gratitude to Weathers and confessed that he couldn't have achieved what they did in the film without the late actor.
In the video, the Rambo: Last Blood actor stood by a painting of Rocky and Apollo, reminiscing about their last time in a boxing ring with Weathers.
Stallone said in the video, "He was absolutely brilliant, his voice, his size, his power, his athletic ability, but more importantly, his heart, his soul. It’s a horrible loss."
He continued, "He was magic, and I was so fortunate to be part of his life, so, Apollo, keep punching."
The 77-year-old actor captioned the post, "We lost a legend yesterday. My life was forever changed for the better the day I met Carl Weathers. Rest in power and keeping punching."
Moreover, Michael B. Jordan also paid tribute to Weathers as he shared photos of him on his Instagram stories.

Carl Weathers' death:
Carl Weathers, the actor famous for his roles in Rocky, Predator, and The Mandalorian, passed away at the age of 76.
As reported by Deadline and Variety, on Friday, Weathers' family stated that he "peacefully passed away in his sleep" on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
The family statement said, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Carl Weathers, Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life. Through his contributions to film, television, the arts and sports."
"The has left an indelible mark and is recognized worldwide and across generations. He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, partner and friend," it added.
