Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh delighted the fans as they announced the couple is ready to embrace parenthood.

The Padmaavat pair revealed that they are pregnant with their first child, whom they will welcome in September 2024.

Taking to the Instagram on Thursday, the couple posted, a snap that reads, "September 2024."

Soon after the twosome revealed the exciting news the fans and fellow celebrities flocked to the comment section to shower love and good wishes upon them.

Priyanka Chopra wrote, "Mubarak" 

Anil Kapoor noted, "Congratulations (with series of heart emojis)"

Abhishek Bachchan also  added, "Congratulations."

Earlier, according to the reports of The Week, the source shared that Deepika is currently in her second trimester and is soon expected to make the official announcement.

Speculations were circulating that Deepika Padukone might be pregnant after she made an appearance at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

On the red carpet event, the Bajirao Mastani star radiated her elegance in a white shimmery saree, but she hid her midriff with the drape.

Deepika stole the spotlight of BAFTA in a couture saree and custom jewellery designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

For the unversed, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knots in 2018 after dating for six years.
