King Charles offered a glimpse to the royal fans as the palace shared a new view of Buckingham Palace.

In a shared video on the royal family's social media page, depicting the 10-year renovation of the royal house, which includes the Centre Room that opens onto the famous balcony.

The video showcased the two significant terrace appearances last year Trooping the Colour, the public celebration of the monarch's birthday held the following month, and King Charles and Queen Camilla's coronation in May 2023.

In the background, they said, "While all this incredible work is being carried out, the working palace continues to operate as usual throughout for guests, staff and the royal family.”

“As it enters its final three years, this ambitious program carries on with more work to be done to protect the historic building from risk of fire or flood, and to ensure it is fit for purpose for generations to come," the voiceover concluded.

The video was shared along with the caption, “In 2024, the Buckingham Palace reservicing programme will mark its seventh year with the reopening of the East Wing.”

It further added, “The programme aims to protect the historic building from risk of fire or flood, to ensure the Palace is fit for purpose, and to preserve it for future generations.”

The caption capped off with, “Tours of the newly reserviced East Wing will be available to the public this summer.”

The unique glimpse into the palace was released the day after the Royal Collection Trust said that this summer will be the first-ever public opening of Buckingham Palace's East Wing through tours.
