Taylor Swift bags six nominations in American Music Awards 2025

Taylor Swift is back in the spotlight as she has been nominated in six categories in American Music Awards 2025.

The Cruel Summer songstress  who has already won an impressive 40 out of 49 American Music Award nominations in her career, is once again among the top contenders on the newly announced AMAs list. 

According to  Page Six, the 35-year-old has been nominated for six accolade at this year’s American Music Awards including, Artist of the year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Album of the Year, Favorite Pop Album, Collaboration of the Year and Favorite Touring Artist.

Besides the 14-time Grammy-winning singer, Kendrick Lamar is also nominated for 10 awards this year, fans are eager to see if he will follow the footsteps of record-breaking artists like Taylor, who even showed her appreciation for the rapper during his 2025 Grammys performance.

Kendrick  Lamar's song Not Like Us  won the Grammy for  Song of the Year in 2025 Grammy Awards, alongside four other honours.

The American Music Awards will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez and broadcast live from Las Vegas on Memorial Day, May 26, 2025.
