Princess Kate and Prince William personally congratulate 'Dancing with the Stars' winner
Kate Middleton and Prince William send heartfelt message to 'Dancing with the Stars' winners
After Robert Irwin and Witney Carson McAllister claimed victory on Dancing with the Stars, Prince William and Kate Middleton quickly sent in their congratulations.
Steve Irwin’s son, Robert, managed to secure a win on the dance competition show, a decade after his sister earned her win.
Irwin, who was also a key figure in the Earthshot Prize, also maintains a close relationship with the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The Royal couple took a moment from their busy lives to congratulate the winner on his Instagram post, which was captioned, “Dreams do come true” with a loveheart emoji.
In the video, shared by the 21-year-old, announcing the results, William and Kate commented, "Congratulations Robert and Witney!"
Prince William also made a brief surprise appearance on the show, leaving fans ecstatic.
He connected via video link to offer encouragement to the wildlife expert’s son.
In the pre-recorded segment, the Future King jokingly called the young Australian competitor "twinkle toes," as he shared words of encouragement and showed support for his dance journey.
"We're missing you, Robert. Whilst your 'twinkle toes' are going off elsewhere, I need you down here," William said.
"Witney, you need to get him in as much glitter as you can. You guys have got a seriously good chance of winning it," he added.
