Millie Bobby Brown reveals shocking truth about feeling ‘safe’ around David Harbour
Millie Bobby Brown breaks silence on David Harbour ‘bullying’ rumours
Millie Bobby Brown has cleared the air once and for all regarding her working relationship with David Harbour in the wake of reports that she accused him of bullying on the set of Stranger Things.
According to PEOPLE, the 21-year-old actress clarified that she was very happy and fulfilled to share the screen with the 50-year-old actor.
Millie, currently celebrating the success of the Netflix sci-fi hit's fifth season, firmly shut down ongoing speculation of workplace harassment from David, who plays her adoptive father, Jim Hopper, on the show.
During a candid conversation with Deadline, the English actress said, “Of course I felt safe. I mean, we've worked together for 10 years."
She remarked, “I feel safe with everyone on that set. You naturally just, you know... you've been doing it for so long.”
“We also play father and daughter, so naturally you have a closer bond than the rest, because we have had some really intense scenes together, especially in season 2,” Millie noted.
“But David and I have a great relationship. We work really closely together in the scenes and in preparing for the scenes,” she continued. “And I really am excited for everyone to see the labor of love, and hard work we put into the closure of our relationship, and what that looks like.”
“And to give some of the fans, especially the Hopper and Eleven fans, those scenes that I feel, I think are gonna be quite impactful,” the actress added. “But I love it. It makes me wanna bring my A-game every single time I see that I'm on the call sheet working with him because I know he's bringing it right back.”
Stranger Things Volume 1 is currently streaming on Netflix, with Season 5's Volume 2 slated to release on December 25, followed by the finale on December 31.
