Elizabeth Olsen opens up about the on-set chemistry that brought 'Eternity' to life
Elizabeth Olsen praises her co-stars for the fun and joy they brought to the movie
Elizabeth Olsen opened up about her on-screen marriage with Miles Teller in Eternity and why working with him kept the experience effortlessly fun.
While attending the A24 film’s premiere in New York City, the 36-year-old actress reflected on the dynamic that brought the complicated relationship between Joan and Larry to life.
Despite playing a couple facing a deeply emotional crossroads, Olsen said the atmosphere behind the scenes was anything but heavy, thanks in large part to Teller’s unpredictable charm.
“He brought such a playful energy to the set,” Olsen told People, adding that the actor was “always trying to surprise me,” making each scene feel fresh and instinctive.
She credited the script’s strong writing and Teller’s prepared yet spontaneous approach for giving their 65-year marriage on screen an easy, believable rhythm.
Olsen also highlighted how the rest of the cast, including Da’Vine Joy Randolph and John Early, created a light, improvisation-filled environment that often had everyone fighting back laughter.
The Eternity arrives in theaters with the rare energy of a film where the cast’s real-life chemistry radiates through every scene.
