Sylvester Stallone’s cane at Kennedy gala sparks urgent health scare rumors
‘Rambo’ star receives Kennedy Honour from President Donald Trump in Washington DC
Sylvester Stallone recently sparked major health scare after he used a cane for the first time at the 2025 Kennedy Centre Honours.
The Rocky legend attended the event with a sleek black cane and a gold-toned handle as he made a grand entrance along with his wife Jennifer Flavin at the Kennedy Centre Opera House in Washington DC on December 7.
It is pertinent to mention that Sylvester was celebrated as one of the event’s annual honourees on Sunday.
Interestingly, President Donald Trump, who hosted the annual Kennedy Centre Honors, spoke highly of Sylvester and other honourees including Gloria Gaynor, Michael Crawford and George Strait.
After receiving the honour, the Rambo actor said that he’s “incredibly humbled” and even described it as being “in the eye of a hurricane”.
“This is an amazing event,” remarked the 79-year-old at the event.
However, the Creed actor added, “You’re caught up in the middle of it. It’s hard to take it in until the next day…but I’m incredibly humbled by it.”
The health news came after Sylvester shared, he’d “never recovered” from injuries sustained while making action movies.
“I was directing Expendables and, like an idiot, I'm doing take 10, take whatever, and I remember one slam and I could actually feel one bang... I never recovered from it,” recalled the actor during a February 2024 episode of The Family Stallone season 2.
Sylvester further said, “After that film, it was never physically the same.”
