Chris Martin stuns newlyweds with surprise first dance performance
His appearance followed a request from the groom’s mother, who had contacted the band
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin gave one newlywed couple a wedding moment they will never forget after turning up unannounced during their first dance.
According to Metro.co.uk, the singer made a surprise appearance at a wedding in Stafford, performing his 2024 song All My Love live as the couple took to the dance floor.
At first, the bride and groom had no idea the musician singing in front of them was the Fix you hitmaker himself.
The wedding took place at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in Rugeley, where Chris turned incognito in jeans and a woollen hat.
His appearance followed a request from the groom’s mother, who had contacted the band hoping for a personalised video message to mark the special day.
Instead, the family and venue team were stunned when they received a response saying: “We can do one better.”
Venue owner Alex Brown said the reaction was pure shock when Chris appeared in person. After finishing the song, the singer briefly greeted the couple, wished them well, and made a hurried exit.
