Josh Allen credits his wife, Hailee Steinfeld after a dramatic Buffalo Bills comeback win and the couple’s recent pregnancy announcement.
The Bills quarterback, Allen, helped lead his team from a 21-point deficit to defeat the New England Patriots 35–31 on Sunday, days after he and Steinfeld revealed they are expecting their first child, as per People.
Moreover, he showed enormous love for wifey; when asked whether the baby news served as extra motivation; Allen made it clear where his focus lies.
“I love my wife — she’s my favorite teammate,” he said postgame.
While Steinfeld wasn’t on the field, Allen acknowledged her influence, calling the moment “really cool” and deeply personal.
He added that the news itself wasn’t a surprise to him.
“I’ve known for a long time, so it’s not that crazy to me,” Allen said. “It’s a really special moment in my life and my wife’s.”
Previously, Steinfeld shared pregnancy news through her official Instagram account, ending a birthday post with a video revealing her baby bump as Allen kissed her tummy.
