Noah Schnapp reveals secret plan for watching ‘Stranger Things’ finale
‘Stranger Things’ season 5 finale is set to release in December 2025
The cast of Stranger Things is preparing a heartfelt farewell to the hit series.
During his appearance on Good Morning America on Monday, December 15, Noah Schnapp talked about the upcoming final episodes of Stranger Things Season Five.
The 21-year-old star revealed that the cast will not see the series finale until it premieres for the rest of the world, but they plan to watch it together.
Per PEOPLE magazine, Schnapp admitted, “I’m nervous to watch it, once you watch that, it’s done. That’s the last episode we’re ever gonna watch together.”
“It's so emotional, like reading it, I can't even fathom what it's gonna be like to watch,” He added.
The Stranger Things cast, including Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair), Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and Sadie Sink (Max) will “sit together as a group and watch it together one last time,” said Schnapp, predicting that they’re "probably gonna be sobbing the rest of the day, the rest of the month, probably.”
He also plans to watch the finale in theaters with his family on New Year’s, joking, “[I’m] probably going to have to put a mask on or something. I don't know.”
While reflecting on the end of the series, he shared what he’ll miss most: “I'm gonna miss like, our family of Stranger Things… Not just the cast, though, the crew and everyone at Netflix who's worked on it. It's all kind of just family. We've grown up with each other and it's going to be hard to not have that.”
Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1, is currently streaming, while the Volume 2 premieres on December 25, with the finale releasing on December 31 on Netflix and in theaters.
