Chris Hemsworth is looking back at the single-minded drive that shaped his path to Hollywood stardom.
In a recent conversation on Jay Shetty’s podcast, the Thor actor revealed that his ambition to become an actor took hold early and quickly turned into what he now describes as an “absolute obsession.”
Once he committed to the idea, the Extraction actor said, there was little room for doubt even if he underestimated how difficult the journey would be.
“There was no doubt that was what I was going to do,” Hemsworth shared, acknowledging a youthful naivety about the realities of the industry.
He added, acting became a form of escapism before it ever became a career.
Additionally, he's one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood right now.
He is set to reprise his role as Thor in Avengers: Doomsday, scheduled for release in 2026.
