The 'Jaws' maker returns to the big screen once again with a new sci-fi thriller
Steven Spielberg is returning to break all the records once again and this time with his signature genre that helped him to shape his career.
On Tuesday, Universal Pictures released the first trailer for Disclosure Day, the latest science-fiction film from the Jurassic Park director, hinting at a world poised for an alien revelation.
The movie stars Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor alongside Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo.
Moreover, the movie centers on a global moment of reckoning. A brief logline poses the central question: if humanity were finally shown proof that it is not alone, would the truth bring clarity or fear?
The film marked the Oscar-winning director's first UFO-related movie in his long career and based on an original idea by the director.
In addition, the screenplay comes from longtime collaborator David Koepp, whose past work with Spielberg includes Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds.
John Williams is also a part of the movie as the original composer for the movie, maintaining his partnership with Spielberg for the 30th collaboration.
The film will hit the heaters on June 12, 2026.
