‘Supergirl’ teaser trailer drops - introducing antithesis Kryptonian
The film will be released in cinemas and IMAX on June 26, 2026
DC Studios has released the first teaser trailer for Supergirl, with a savage poster that reads, Truth, Justice, Whatever.
The trailer showcases the iconic Kryptonian protagonist Kara Zor-El as a sharp contrast to Superman’s idealism.
Played by House of the Dragon breakout Milly Alcock, Supergirl is framed as an antithesis to her famous cousin.
As the teaser suggests, the actress delivers one of the movie's coldest lines: “He sees the good in everyone,” and I see the truth.
The story revolves around a girl named Kara aka Supergirl who unwillingly joins the epic interstellar journey of vengeance and justice after a ruthless adversary strikes close to home.
Directed by Craig Gillespie and screenplay by Ana Nogueira. The movie follows a star-studded cast:
- Milly Alcock (Kara Zor-El)
- Jason Momoa (Lobo)
- Eve Ridley (Ruthye Marye Knoll)
- Matthias Schoenaerts (Krem of the Yellow Hills)
- David Krumholtz (Zor-El)
- Emily Beecham (Alura)
In addition, the film will be released in cinemas and IMAX on June 26 2026.
