Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner’s cause of death released by LA County Medical Examiner
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s records has listed “multiple sharp force injuries” as the official cause of death for Rob and Michele Reiner.
While the “manner of death”, according to CNN, has been revealed as “homicide” in the latest release.
“The medical examiner records note the Reiners’ remains are ready to be released to their next of kin,” the news agency reported on December 17.
Nick Reiner, the perpetrator in the couple’s murder investigation, appeared in court for the first time on the same day.
After denying the opportunity to plead his case, an LA court scheduled his trial for January 7, 2026.
Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner were discovered slain at their Brentwood, California residence on December 14.
The late pair’s other children, Jake and Romy Reiner, recently released a statement saying that their loss “is something that no one should ever experience.”
